Web Editor at the University of Skövde
The University of Skövde is a central and leading actor in education, research, and collaboration that supports the transition to a sustainable future – regionally, nationally, and internationally. Our 10,000 students and 500 employees create conditions for society's digital transformation and sustainable social development through high-quality education and research in selected areas. Welcome to a vibrant campus in Skaraborg.
About Us
At the Department of Marketing and Communication, we are twelve colleagues who together strengthen the University’s brand. You will join our web team, where three web editors are currently building a smarter and more coordinated way of working. We focus on user-friendliness, accessibility, and content that actually helps people.
We work closely together and enjoy when ideas quickly turn into action. With us, it’s easy to ask questions, test, and innovate. We believe that great things happen when we collaborate and dare to think differently.
At the University of Skövde, we work together, closely and interdisciplinary, to create engagement, quality, and results on a vibrant campus. We take joint responsibility for tasks and work towards the organization’s goals. The University’s conditions create good opportunities for proximity and collaboration between institutions, departments, students, colleagues, and partners.
As the web team is currently participating in a project to develop a new platform for internal communication, we need you to take the baton in the daily web work. We also want you to be involved as we shape how we will work moving forward. You will have the opportunity to influence, improve, and leave your mark on both content and working methods. We are looking for someone who loves to dive deep into the web, who prefers to test rather than wait for perfect conditions. If you also believe that communication should be clear, human, and fun, you should apply for the job!

- Editorial skills, including experience creating and editing content tailored to target audiences and tone.
- Documented good collaboration skills.
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
We will also value the following assessment criteria during the hiring process:
